Roof Damage and Repair

Living in North West Indiana, weather can definitely have an affect on your roof. Whether heavy snow lays on it for a long period of time, wind gives it a little damage or simple wear and tear leaves you with a leaky roof, here are a few ways that you can get a leaky roof fixed.

The first one, maybe a more obvious one, is to replace the shingles. This is the most common reason for a leaky roof whether they are worn, beginning to curl or have gone completely missing.

The next one is to repair the vent boots. Vent boots purpose is to cover any vents or plumbing pipes and can easily become worn out over time. However, they are easily replaced or removed.

Third, you may need to reseal the flashing. Flashing is a metal strip that is placed at points across the roof to waterproof it. Flashing is most commonly used around things installed in the roof and can come undone.

Fourth, you may have had a skylight installed improperly or not made to fit quite right.

Lastly, you may have broken or cracked siding which can be replaced with new siding.

If you are experiencing leaks and do not know the cause, give us a call, we would be happy to come out and help you fix your problem.
